About Stickman Hook

Stickman Hook is a one-button swinging game: hold to grapple onto a hook point, let go to fly, and chain swings to reach the end of the level.

It's the kind of game that feels clumsy for the first two levels and then suddenly clicks, and once it clicks it's pure flow — you're just gliding through the level in one long chain of swings.

How to Play Stickman Hook

You're a stickman with a grappling hook and one job: reach the finish line. Hold to latch onto the nearest hook point and swing; let go to fly. Chain swings together to keep your momentum going and launch yourself across gaps, past spinning obstacles and through the level.

Timing the release is the whole game — let go at the bottom of a swing and you fly forward and fast, let go too early or too late and you flop. Bouncy pads fling you back into the air if you fall. Hit the finish and the next level loads; hit a spike wall or fall off the bottom and you restart the level.

Thoughts

This is the ideal short-break game. Levels take seconds, there's one button, and the good runs feel amazing without you ever having to think hard.

The trick is that the timing is generous and the physics are honest, so when you nail a long chain of releases it feels earned, not lucky.

Tips & Strategies

  1. Release at the bottom of the swing, when you're moving fastest and pointing forward. That's where the big launches come from.
  2. Don't hook everything. Skipping an anchor and flying through the gap is often faster and keeps your speed.
  3. Watch the rope, not the stickman — when it's roughly vertical you're at the bottom of the arc and it's time to let go.
  4. Falling isn't always fatal. Bounce pads at the bottom of many levels throw you back up, so aim for them when a swing goes wrong.
  5. Speed carries. A good chain of swings makes the next one easier, so focus on rhythm rather than each hook on its own.

Stickman Hook FAQ

How do you swing in Stickman Hook?

Hold click, tap or Space to grab the nearest hook point, and let go to release. You swing as long as you hold, and you fly in whatever direction you were moving when you released.

Why do I keep falling short?

You're probably releasing too early, on the way down. Let go at the bottom of the swing or just past it, when the stickman is moving forward and slightly up.

Do I have to hook every anchor?

No. Some of the fastest lines skip anchors entirely. If you have enough speed, fly past them.

Can I play Stickman Hook on my phone?

Yes — it's a one-touch game, so tapping the screen works exactly like clicking.

Can I play it offline?

Yes — use the Download button above the game to grab a zip that plays with no internet at all.
